LOCALLY OWNED & OPERATED
SINCE 1910
In 1910 two European immigrants, Daniel Kurica and John Zazulak started National Window Cleaning Company in New Orleans. Their company survived the Great Depression and two World Wars. With the help of their two sons, Philip Kurica and John Zazulak Jr., the company grew and prospered. Because National had begun to offer many more services in addition to window cleaning, Philip and John Jr. formed National Building Services & Maintenance, Inc. in 1962, with emphasis on commercial janitorial services. In 1986, National Window Cleaning merged its operations completely into National Building Services & Maintenance, Inc. At this time National was one of the early leaders in the flood restoration industry by helping develop the modern extraction system.
The accounts of National Building Services & Maintenance, Inc. cover a wide spectrum of businesses and industries including but not limited to: office buildings, medical facilities and clinics, industrial plants, oil refineries, retail centers, financial institutions, and computer facilities. National will also customize services to accommodate the needs of the customer.
We do not forget our humble roots and honor those pioneers by continuing their legacy of providing quality service and proudly serving Southeast Louisiana for over 100 years.
